An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities include:

Partner with customers to document and validate their business requirements, map them to solution functionality and configure/customize the Oracle NetSuite application to meet their business needs.

Conduct sessions with the customer via the phone or in person, attend project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables.

Provide customers with as needed consulting and general assistance and be a go-to resource for specific functional areas.

Contribute to the solutions repository/best practices and knowledge share activities and participate in Subject Matter Expert programs.

Support the sales cycle through scoping of Professional Services engagements, executive-level prospect meetings, and solution reviews.

Assist in expanding Professional Services sales installed base of existing customers, as well as present and promote the value of Oracle NetSuite Professional Services to prospective customers.

Train and mentor more junior consulting staff

Preferred Qualifications include:

  • 7+ years cumulative relevant professional experience, to include significant functional consulting and/or pre or post sales roles for a services or product vendor

  • Expertise in the full life cycle implementation of Software industry vertical focused ERP solutions.

  • NetSuite platform solution experience strongly preferred, however competing vendors offering will be considered

  • Strong project and team leadership skills

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • NetSuite product certification

  • Ability to travel on a modest to moderate basis, as appropriate.
