An entry-level management position responsible for providing quality work products on customer engagements while managing a small team of consultants. Has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family.

Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Ensure that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved by focusing on best practices and process improvements. Responsible for operational metrics and overall business results for area of responsibility. Provides coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Typically manages individual contributors. Demonstrates multiple business process expertise within one product family or technology solutions architect and design expertise for one technology product and understand cross stack impacts.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience and 1 year of engagement/team leadership experience. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

The Practice Manager Professional Services eCommerce - Delivery is responsible for attaining quarterly Professional Services (PS) revenue targets, in the form of delivered billable hours. Additionally this role is responsible for the scoping and positioning of new services engagements. The incumbent will act as a key point of contact for Sales and Solution Consulting on opportunities. This role directly supports the sales cycle via internal knowledge transfers, solution reviews and executive-level prospect meetings. The successful candidate will excel at expanding NetSuites footprint with existing customers through upsell of services opportunities. They will manage a team of resources, as well as handle all resource planning and staffing for team on a broad range of services engagements, maximizing billable utilization. Furthermore, the role will manage project portfolio and ensure that quality standards for delivery are exceeded. The role will serve as an escalation point for services engagements. As well as being a key resource for internal practice development efforts, will train and mentor new and experienced resources.

Detailed Responsibilities include:

  • Achieve and Exceed PS Revenue and Profitability Objectives

  • Ensure team billable utilization targets are met

  • Attain quarterly PS revenue targets

  • Support the sales cycle through scoping and approval of PS eCommerce engagements, Executive-level prospect meetings and Solution reviews

  • Manage project portfolio to ensure quality, on-time and on-budget implementations using a mix of global resources

  • Increase the Value of the NetSuite Application for Customers

  • Expand PS sales in existing customer base

  • Become trusted adviser to the Customer through implementation lifecycle and beyond

  • Team with Account Management and Client Management teams to promote user adoption and effective use of NetSuite, and support renewal efforts

  • Collaborate with NetSuite partners during services engagements

  • Ensure High Customer Satisfaction and Referencability

  • Responsible for adhering to highest quality standards in project delivery

  • Manage executive-level customer relationships and provide team oversight through NetSuite implementation

  • Serve as Steering Committee member on strategic projects

  • Responsible for project staffing and resource scheduling on a broad range of consulting engagements

  • Contribute to companys focus on verticalization through participation in internal cross-departmental initiatives

  • Increase Engagement and Capabilities of PS Resources

  • Hire, train and manage team of new and experience resources to fulfill Practice objectives

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to assist in resources career development

  • Build teams expertise and confidence in project delivery work

  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as: vacation scheduling, expense reports, time

  • Data analysis (often involving manual efforts) to understand the practice and service offering realities

  • Overall assistance with the creation of net new offerings, including scope decisions, budget analysis, terms of service creation, delivery/configuration guides, blueprint/alignment deck updates, qualification docs, etc.

  • Facilitation of role-based meetings for optimization, training, problem-solving

  • Continual optimization of the practice with constant identification of challenges/problem areas (in delivery and offerings) and solutions to pursue

  • Great presentation skills

  • Communication/investigation/relationship maintenance with product to discuss challenges/issues, needs and client wants - as well as partner on product improvements

  • Overall cross-departmental collaboration on opportunities

Preferred Qualifications/Skills include:

  • 8 OR MORE years of overall experience ideally delivering packaged software application solutions as a member of a professional services organization.

  • Strong experience leading professional services delivery practices and mentoring direct reports.

  • Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable software solutions

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication is required with previous experience creating Statement of Work for new and existing customers

  • Strong experience in Change Management and Business Process Mapping

  • Excellent client management skills and the ability to work with customers to develop and manage an implementation plan

  • eCommerce & Digital Marketing experience is a plus

  • NetSuite solution experience a plus

  • PMP certification a plus
