An American Company is seeking a Netsuite SME in Atlanta, GA.

Role Description

• Help administer and configure NetSuite company-wide; create and maintain users, grant access, roles, permissions, perform updates, integration and configurations for forms and customers/contacts
• Provide NetSuite training for all NetSuite users with development of local SME's and power users that can help assist and train others
• Partner with users to understand, optimize, and automate their processes where feasible
• Plan, configure, review, and manage NetSuite to meet business needs including fields, page layouts, workflows, scripts, approvals, integrations, and validation rules
• Gather requirements from Finance and convert into projects
• Assist with bringing in additional entities' data into NetSuite and validate data
• Enhance and optimize functionality, improve processes, troubleshoot user, application or system performance related issues and manage any escalations to NetSuite support
• Control and maintain master data.
• Manage NetSuite related user issues - roles changes, controls, and troubleshooting
• Develop, test, document, and deploy customizations, custom objects, third-party tools, and new system functionality based on evolving business needs
• Assist with building integrations to 3rd party tools and help enhance system functionality based on evolving business needs and manage NetSuite integration with internal and external systems
• Work with the system integration team to help troubleshoot data transfer failures
• Understand, articulate and document needed customization, reports and capabilities
• Manage business process testing in release preview prior to ongoing NetSuite upgrades
• Evaluate NetSuite updates and bug fixes, develop test scripts and communicate with other system users as required in response to new releases, to include notifying the organization of updates to the system, relaying system impact/changes to the field and updating SOPs if changes are needed as a result of updates
• Provide support for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and training to NetSuite users
• Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting
• Work on ad hoc projects as needed
• Be proactive in month-end reporting process

Skills & Requirements

• Several years of hands-on work with NetSuite Administration, configuration, and development in complex business environments (preferably OneWorld with multiple currencies).
• Extensive experience supporting user requests for new searches, reports, KPIs, and addressing urgent issues
• Knowledge of best practices in NetSuite roles, permissions, customer objects, scripting, simple workflows and report
• Solid comprehension and application of core Financial processes (P2P, O2C, R2R) and accounting and financial modules of NetSuite
• Knowledge of the Advanced Revenue Management, Advance Projects and FAM functionality in a software or service application is a plus.
• Experience with SOX ITCG change management and access controls is a plus
• Project management, systems implementation and integration background
• NetSuite Administrator Certification and/or NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification desired
• Thorough understanding of NetSuite functionality and best practice techniques
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Computer Science
• Advanced Excel skills preferred
• Functional understanding of financial and operational business processes and reporting with ability to identify and implement automation opportunities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional analytical judgment and problem-solving skills while demonstrating high ethical standards
• Business analysis experience
