Job Description: NetSuite Administrator (3-Month Project)
Location: Costa Mesa
Duration: 3 months (with possibility of extension)
Rate: $60 per hour
We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Administrator to join our client's team for a 3-month project based in Costa Mesa. As a NetSuite Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our client's NetSuite ERP system, ensuring its smooth operation and optimization to meet their business needs. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating a document and updating accounting procedures for the following processes:
- Configure and customize the NetSuite system to align with our client's requirements.
- Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions to ensure appropriate access and security.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches and updates as needed.
- Oversee data management activities, including imports, exports, and data integrity checks.
- Provide training and support to users, addressing their queries and resolving system-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NetSuite with other systems and applications.
- Design and develop custom reports, dashboards, and workflows to streamline business processes.
- Continuously optimize the NetSuite system, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing enhancements.
- Maintain system documentation, user guides, and policies for effective system utilization.
Document and Update Accounting Procedures for the Following Processes:
1. Accounts Payable:
- Streamline the accounts payable process within NetSuite, including vendor setup, invoice processing, and payment processing.
- Document the updated accounts payable procedures, including steps for invoice approval, payment scheduling, and vendor communication.
2. Accounts Receivable:
- Enhance the accounts receivable process in NetSuite, covering customer setup, invoicing, and collections.
- Prepare an updated document outlining the accounts receivable procedures, including credit management, invoicing guidelines, and collection strategies.
3. General Ledger:
- Improve the general ledger process in NetSuite, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, journal entries, and reconciliation.
- Create a comprehensive document detailing the general ledger procedures, including month-end closing, reconciliation guidelines, and financial reporting.
4. Financial Reporting:
- Optimize financial reporting within NetSuite, including the creation of custom reports and dashboards to provide real-time insights.
- Update the document to include guidelines on generating financial reports, customizing report templates, and scheduling automated report distribution.
- Previous experience as a NetSuite Administrator or similar role.
- Proficient in NetSuite administration, configuration, and customization.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes, particularly in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with data management, import/export processes, and data integrity practices.
- Knowledge of NetSuite integration with other systems and applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Note: This is a 3-month project-based position in Costa Mesa, with a competitive hourly rate of $60. There is a possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
